The story behind a highly successful career in the health industry of over 20 years

Hi, I’m Leah Smith! I’m a dental practitioner, founder of Active Little Smiles, and author of The Profitable Practitioner.  I’ve spent more than 20 years helping kids, parents and educators learn about the importance of oral health and the last 10 years teaching health practitioners how to build their books and profit while working less.

After the successful release of my first book 'The Profitable Practitioner – Out-earn your boss and become an elite health professional', I launched my coaching program – The Profit Platform.  My coaching was founded through my hands on experience watching practitioners time and time again failing to fill their books and becoming stressed and frustrated. I could see what they needed to change and had the missing pieces to the puzzle that they were searching for to create a much wanted work-life balance while still increasing profits.

Clinically, my passion is oral health education for children.  Active Little Smiles was created after meeting with thousands of kids, parents and educators throughout my career. Many of them wanted to improve their children’s daily oral health routine, prevent further decay and make going to the dentist a fun and positive experience but were struggling with finding suitable resources to educate on good oral health habits that were engaging and child-friendly.

The biggest roadblock was the lack of access to resources that made learning about oral health simple, interactive, fun and most importantly educational.  The demand for this service got so great that Active Little Smiles was launched to help me get this easy-to-access oral health education to as many kids, parents and educators around Australia (and the world!)
